      William Spacek

      William Henry Spacek, age 60, of Boling, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, in a
      Wharton hospital following an extended illness. He was born on Sept. 17,
      1943, in Zabcikville, the son of the late John Paul Spacek and Agnes Siebert
      Spacek.

      Mr. Spacek had been a resident of Boling for the past five years and was a
      former longtime resident of Alvin. He married Lillian Schulze on Aug. 1,
      1970, in Boling. Mr. Spacek was a veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict serving
      in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of
      Boling. Mr. Spacek worked as a maintenance technician for Amoco Chemicals
      for 22 years until his retirement in February of 1999. He enjoyed
      refurbishing old cars, woodworking and fishing.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Saturday, July 10, 2004, at
      the chapel of Wharton Funeral Home with Rev. David Dye officiating and
      assisted by Rev. Skip Holman. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial
      Park Cemetery in Wharton with military honors provided by American Legion
      Post No. 87 of Wharton.

      Survivors include his wife, Lillian Spacek of Boling; daughters and
      sons-in-law, Theresa and Adam Arvello of Dickinson and Stephanie and Don
      Tower of Lometa; mother, Agnes Spacek of Temple; sister, Agnes Raabe of
      Temple; brothers, Johnnie Spacek of Boling, Steve Spacek of Bay City and
      Anthony Spacek of Wharton.; grandchildren, Kayla Tower, Rachel Tower and Don
      Ethan Tower.
      Pallbearers will be Glenn Wittig, Daniel Wittig, Bruce Wittig, Keith Wittig,
      Scott Malovets, Keith Kostelnik, Jerry Svatek Jr. and Justin Mach Jr.

      Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Spacek and Darryle Spacek.

      In lieu of usual remembrances the family requests memorials to Hospice
      Support , Inc., 1102 N. Mechanic, Suite B, El Campo, TX 77437; or the
      Skilled Nursing Unit at Gulf Coast Medical Center, 1400 Hwy. 59, Wharton, TX
      77488.
