She was born Sept. 14, 1919, in Alice, to the late Joseph and Frances Ondrusek Sefcik. She was a waitress and a Catholic.
Survivors: daughters, Frances B. Abel of Sierra Vista, Ariz., P.J. Hoke of Dallas, and Monica Quinlan of Tucson, Ariz.; sons, Dennis Jose of Dallas and Timothy Jost of Teague; sisters, Lillian Evans of Masa, Ariz., Mitzi Mendleski of Corpus Christi, and Stella Finley of San Antonio; brother, Jerry Sefcik of San Angelo; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: sister, Blanch Egglemeyer; and brothers, Emil Sefcik and J.B. Sefcik.
A wake service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Buffington Funeral Home chapels in Shiner.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the Rev. Dave Mercer officiating.
Burial will be at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352.
