      ANGLETON - Leon "Leo" Victor Horky Sr., 82, of Angleton, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004.

      He was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Yoakum, to the late Leo and Mary Horky. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Knights of Columbus, the KJT, American Legion and V.F.W. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was retired from Dow Chemical.

      Survivors: wife, Emma Horky; sons, Leon Horky Jr. and Bill Horky, both of Angleton, and Ray Horky of Needville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

      Preceded in death by: sisters, Agnes Drury and Mary Merecka; and brothers, Louis Horky, Raymond Horky and Johnny Horky.

      Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at Palms Funeral Home chapel.

      A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.

      Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, the Revs. Vince Dulock and David Zapalac officiating.

      Burial will be at Angleton Cemetery. Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, 979-849-4343.
