Lillie Marie Pilsner
Lillie Marie Pilsner, 91 of Gonzales, died Saturday, January 3, 2004.
She was born March 13, 1912 in Moulton to the late Frank and Emma
Meizetsechlaeger Schoenfeld. She was a retired florist and a member
of the St. James Catholic Church. She was married to the late Otto
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Tieken and husband Max of
Gonzales and one son, Melvin Pilsner of Canyon Lake; eight
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dan Pilsner; three brothers,
Herman Schoenfeld, Vick Schoenfeld and Frank Schoenfeld Jr.; two
grandsons, Glen Pilsner and Don Pilsner and one granddaughter,
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St.
James Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Leopold and Rev. Mike Boulett
officiating. Interment followed at the St. James Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James "Doc" Darilek, Melvin Kuntschik, Britt
Hindman, Brent Tieken and Kenny Schoenfeld.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Terry Eska, Henry Vollentine and
Memorials may be made to the Catholic Daughters of America Court
#2140 or to the St. James Cemetery Fund.
Buffington Funeral Home of Gonzales was in charge of arrangements.
