Re: [TexasCzechs] Surname populations
- If you could not access Richards url as I did, use the one I pasted
below - adding the 'www' did the trick for me. And I deleted then
extra messages as I have learned to cut and paste from Richard. LOL

| Hi Folks,
| Speaking of the surname Hruska. There is a website where you
can get a
| map showing the density of common surnames in the United States. The
| You just plug in your name and it'll pull up a map showing
| are most prevalent in which states. Now, it only contains the
| most common names in US so yours might not show up. I did test it
| Hruska, Zapalac and Mikeska and it found these. Zapalac folks were
| happy with Texas!
| Sharing. It's What It's All About!
| Rick Garza
| NameSearch: GARZA, ZATTLER, REYNA, FOSTER, SCHACHTNER, STOPFER,
| HOLLMAIER, VOGEL, VOGL, WEINZIERL, FINK . . . and more to come!
- If you add the "www." in front of the "hamrick.com/names" then it will work.
It is intersting that my Czech surname, Hanus, was nothing but the darkest
blue, which means not very many people have that name.
