      Margaret Doucet

      Margaret E. "Mike" Doucet, 82, of Rosenberg, formerly of Trinity,
      died Thursday, November 6, 2003.
      She was born Sept. 15, 1921 in Louise to Gus and Ida Kunz Vajdos.
      Mrs. Doucet graduated from Louise High School, then attended St.
      Joseph's School of Nursing, graduating in 1943. "Mike" was an R.N.
      nurse. She worked for Dr. C.A. Calhoun for 22 years and then worked
      11 years at Kelsey Seybold Clinic in Houston as nursing supervisor in
      charge of Surgery. After retiring in 1985 she moved to Westwood
      Shores in Trinity.
      Survivors include her sisters, Gertrude Brezina of Louise, Florence
      Hradecky of Humble and Rosalie Bezdek of Pasadena; and brothers,
      Robert "Gipson" Vajdos and Gus Vajdos both of Louise; and numerous
      nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R. Lester Doucet;
      and brother, Stanley Vajdos.
      A Rosary was held Monday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary
      Catholic Church in Rosenberg followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m.
      At a later date her ashes will be placed beside Lester's at the
      Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veteran's Memorial Dr., Houston.
      Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.
