      Viola Chaloupka Cabla

      VIOLA CHALOUPKA CABLA, 87, a lifelong resident of Sinton, TX; was
      born Sept. 24, 1916 in Sweet Home, TX & passed away Oct. 30, 2003 in
      a Houston area hospital. Mrs. Cabla is survived by her sons, Richard
      & Ladis Cabla; daughters, Geraldine Shanahan & Catherine Brown;
      sisters, Ruby Schroeder & Estelle Machart, & 7 grandchildren.
      Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Saturday Nov. 1, 2003 at Queen of
      Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home, Tx. A Rosary will be recited at
      10:30 am with a Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11:00 am, with
      Father Sonnier officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the
      Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Sweet Home, Tx. Funeral
      arrangements are under the direction of:

        SINTON - Viola Chaloupka Cabla, 87, of Sinton, died Thursday, Oct.
        30, 2003.
        She was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Sweet Home.

        Survivors: daughters, Geraldine Shanahan of New Braunfels and
        Catherine Brown of California; sons, Richard Cabla and Ladis Cabla,
        both of Houston; sisters, Ruby Schroeder of Houston and Estelle
        Machart of Yoakum; and seven grandchildren.

        Visitation will begin 9 a.m. today at Queen of Peace Catholic Church
        in Sweet Home.

        A rosary will be recited 10:30 a.m. today at the church.

        Services will be 11 a.m. at the church, the Rev. Charles Sonnier
        officiating.

        Burial will be at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Compean Funeral
        Home, Houston, 713-924-6900.
