JEROME HOLUB, MSGT (Ret.) U.S. Air Force, age 77, died October 5, 1995. Mr.
Holub was a long time member of St. Peter, Prince of the Apostle Catholic
Church. He retired from the Army Air Corp/Air Force with over 23 years of
service, and served during WW II. He was a devoted husband, father, and family man
who loved all his grandchildren. Mr. Holub was preceded in death by daughter
Judi Brolin and son, William Charles Holub. He is survived by his wife, Helen
Holub, sons and daughters-in-law, Cullis and Joyce Holub, and Michael and
Carol Holub, daughters and sons-in-law Pat and Chip Puhl, Barbara and David
McDermott, Sandi and Mike Durr, and Darlene and John Enloe: 19 Grandchildren, 3
great grandchildren; brother Alex Hollub, sisters, Helen Pesek, and Ida Bucek.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 8:30 AM Monday, October 9, 1995 at St.
Peter,Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors will
follow at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 P.M.
Sunday 8 October, 1995 in Sunset Mausoleum No. 2 chapel with a Rosary being
recited at 7 P.M.
Funeral under the direction of SUNSET FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Austin Hwy. San
Antonio, Tx. 78209.

EL CAMPO - Jerome Holub, 86, of El Campo, died Sunday, May 30, 2004.
He was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Taiton, to the late John and Agnes Sumbera
Holub. He was a retired farmer and a member of SPJST Lodge 40. He was a past
director and member of the Modern Farmers Co-op and a member of Farmers
Co-op and St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors: wife, Antonie "Toni" Holub; sons, Dennis Holub and Sheldon Holub,
both of El Campo; sister, Elsie Stavinoha of El Campo; three grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin 11 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel.
A rosary will be recited 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Philip the Apostle
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Gary Janak
Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo,
Memorials: donor's choice.
