She was born Jan. 25, 1912, in Gonzales County, to the late Joseph P. and Agnes M. Kalinec Molnoskey. She was a member of KJZT No. 5, Altar Society and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
Survivors: daughters, Mary Ann Marek and Agnes Darilek, both of Shiner, Pauline Kloesel and Beatrice Opela, both of Yoakum; sons, Adolph Pekar, Raymond Pekar, Henry Pekar and Paul Pekar III, all of Shiner, and Norbert Pekar of Victoria; sister, Hattie Respondek of Gonzales; 33 grandchildren; and 53 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Paul John Pekar Jr.; daughter, Rosalie Pekar; son, Benjamin Pekar; sisters, Annie Molnoskey and Amerciana Molnoskey; brothers, John F. Molnoskey, Joe A. Molnoskey, Paul Molnoskey, Anton Molnoskey and Louis Molnoskey; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. tonight at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
A KJZT and Altar Society rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Robert Knippenberg officiating.
Burial will be at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352.
