Martha Mary Hornak, 87, of Fayetteville passed away July 23 at
Colorado-Fayette Medical Center in Weimar.
She was born in Rek Hill on April 4, 1916 to Joseph Kulhanek and
Annie Malek Kulhanek and married Lad J. Hornak on July 14, 1936.
She was an Avon representative, housewife and member of St. John's
Catholic Church in Fayetteville.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Justina
Kulhanek, Millie Wasicek, Ludmila Kulhanek, Clara Minarcik and 2
infant girls; brothers, Theo Kulhanek, Peter M. Kulhanek, Joe M.
Kulhanek and Lambert Kulhanek.
She is survived by her sons, Lad A. Hornak of Houston, David G.
Hornak of Columbus and Richard W. Hornak of Fayetteville; four
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great
Funeral services were July 26 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in
Ellinger with Fr. Jack Maddux and Fr. John Peters officiating.
Interment followed at St. John's Catholic Church Cemetery in
Pallbearers were Roy Kulhanek, Chester Kulhanek, Allan Kulhanek,
David Kulhanek, Patrick Kulhanek and Gary Kulhanek.
