Obituary - Jerome "Jerry" KuceraJEROME "JERRY" KUCERA, 69, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2003, in Houston,Texas. He was born February 4, 1934, to Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Kucera. Jerry served the Navy on the S.S. Clamagore in the submarine fleet during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He earned his Masters Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida and was a professor at San Jacinto College. He retired from Lockheed Martin where he helped design and played a key role in the ground systems of the Hubble Telescope and helped in the design of the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty great years Linda; his son Jeff and his wife Terry; his daughter June and her husband Joe; his daughter Heather and her husband Wayne; his son Eric and his daughter Cher and her husband Rene. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jazmine, Kristina, Jaimie, Conner, Taylor, Ericka, Mia, and Wayne. Services will be held at 7 p.m., March 4, 2003, at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 East Medical Center Boulevard, Webster, Texas 77598. Memorials may be made to Columbia Memorial, P.O.
