Mrs. Clement J. (Mary) Svrcek
Mrs. Clement J. (Mary) Svrcek, age 93 of West, passed away Sunday morning, February 23, 2003 in West Rest Haven.
Rosary was recited 7 pm Monday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 3 pm Tuesday in St. Mary�s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. Walter Matus, as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary�s Cemetery in West.
Mrs. Svrcek was born February 19, 1910 in McLennan County of John and Mary Kadlubar. She married Clement J. Svrcek November 20, 1934 and they farmed in the Aquilla area for forty eight years, before moving to the Lacy Lakeview area in 1982, where she lived until 1999 before moving to West. Mr. Svrcek preceded her in death June 30, 1984.
She was a member of St. Mary�s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West and the KJZT Society #104 in Abbott. She was a homemaker and a volunteer worker at Geneva Hall.
Mrs. Svrcek was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and a great-grandson.
She is survived by a daughter, Marie Traywick and husband Ed of Whitney; a sister, Frances Vielle of Mobile, Alabama; two grandsons, Michael Traywick and wife Sharon of Crestview, Florida and Patrick and wife Christina of Bossier City, Louisiana; five great-grandsons, Randy, Brandon, Jonathan, Christopher and Cody Traywick.
Active Pallbearers were Jerry Allen, David Kocian, Willie Kadlubar, Raymond Svrcek, Bobby Svrcek and Willie Svrcek.
Honorary Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. The family has designated memorials be made to St. Mary�s Catholic Church of the Assumption Parish Center in West. Kotch Funeral Home of West was in charge of arrangements.
