February 5, 2003
Ronnie James Mikulec, 49, of Inez, Texas died Tuesday, February 4,
2003. He was born August 31, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX to Helen
Zdansky Mikulec of Victoria and the late Rudy Mikulec. He was a
maintenance mechanic at DuPont and a member of the Inez Baptist
Ronnie was a loving husband, wonderful father, caring brother, loyal
friend and more than words could ever say. God gifted Ronnie with
many talents and abilities. He spent his life enjoying those
blessings. He grew up on the ball field, spent summers fishing, the
fall hunting, and the time in between sharing stories of good times
with family and friends.
He thanked God often for the blessings of his three children and had
the privilege of seeing them each accept Jesus as their personal Lord
and Saviour. It is a tremendous comfort to know each will spend
eternity with Him.
Ronnie enjoyed sports, especially helping others to be their best.
His PIA Little League team held a special place in his heart. Sweet
memories abound - weekends at the deer lease, swimming, skiing and
fishing at the lake, camping with friends, showing lambs and cheering
on his kids in their athletic endeavors. He was doubly blessed with
two precious grandchildren, being "Big Daddy." His love lives on in
our hearts and will sustain us until he hugs us in heaven.
He is survived by his wife, Molly Lee LaCaze Mikulec; sons, Ryan Lee
Mikulec and wife Persephone of Victoria and James Michael Mikulec of
Inez; daughter, Rachel Lee Mikulec of Inez; sisters, Kathy Mikulec of
Victoria and Brenda Flanagan of Victoria; brother, Larry Mikulec and
wife Lynda of Inez and two grandchildren, Reese and Reagan Mikulec of
