      January 1, 2003

      YOAKUM - Alvin H. Wenske, Jr. of Yoakum, Texas passed away Monday
      December 30, 2002. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday
      January 3, 2003 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Yoakum. A
      rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2003 at
      Buffington Funeral Home chapel in Yoakum, Texas.
      Alvin Wenske was born October 16, 1947 in Moulton, Texas to Alvin and
      Regina Wenske. He is survived by his wife Sharon Kainer Wenske of 31
      years. A son Kevin Wenske of Denver, Co. Two daughters Kim Wenske
      Norman of Celina, Texas, Kirstin Wenske of Yoakum, Texas and one
      sister Elorine Sitka of Yoakum, TX.

      Alvin was the co-founder of A A & E Leather Craft in Yoakum and
      worked in the leather industry his entire life. He was presently
      working for Tandy Brands. Alvin served in the Army National Guard. He
      graduated from Moulton High School in 1965, was a member of the
      Moulton American Legion Post, Knights of Columbus of Yoakum and St.
      Joseph Catholic Church in Yoakum, TX.

      Alvin was born and raised in the Moulton Community and made his home
      and business in Yoakum. He was known for his dedicated work ethic and
      great success as a businessman. He was a loving husband and father as
      well as a valued friend to many in the community. His partimes
      included outdoor camping, fishing, gardening, listening to polka
      music and dancing with his family and friends.

      21:4
