      December 31, 2002

      Albina Marie Schindler, 82, beloved wife, mother and grandmother
      passed away at home on December 27, 2002 in the arms of her family.
      She was born on December 17, 1920 in Hallettsville, Texas. Her
      parents were Frank Steffek and Genevieve Kalmus. On November 17, 1943
      she married her childhood friend, William E. Schindler, who survives
      her. She is also survived by her son Dr. William R. Schindler and his
      wife, Dr. Christine Schindler; and her daughter Dr. Donna Schindler
      and her husband Michael Raffanti. Her grandchildren are Joseph,
      Lukas, and Magdalena Raffanti and Theresa and James Schindler. Bea
      enjoyed many things in life, include her cats, travel, gardening,
      cooking and sewing. She will be greatly missed by her family and
      friends. The family wishes to warmly thank Vitas Hospice Care for
      their wonderful help in the last months of her life. In lieu of
      flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the charity
      of your choice. A Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Church in
      Hallettsville, Texas on Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at 7:00 pm. On
      Thursday, January 2, at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church in
      Hallettsville a second Rosary will be recited followed by Mass at
      10:30 am. Funeral arrangements by Colonial Funeral Home in Universal
      City.
