- Waco Tribune-Herald, Sunday, October 27, 2002Bernard (Ben) Pustejovsky, 80, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 25, 2002, in a Waco Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, October 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with the Rev. Angelo Bertini officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park-North. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco, with visitation following.Ben was born July 29, 1922 in West, the son of Julius Pustejovsky and Bertha Rejcek Pustejovsky. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Pustejovsky married Miss Gladys Wallace on January 20, 1950 in Waco. He worked for General Tire & Rubber Company in Waco, retiring with 25 years of service. He was a member of SPJST, American Legion, and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by Two sisters and a brother.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gladys Pustjovsky of Waco; two sons, Steven B. Pustejovsky of Katy and Larry G. Pustejovsky of Waco; a brother, Bob Pustejovsky of West; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.A heartfelt thanks to the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center staff for their special concern and care for Ben.
