      Agnes Genevie Kasper

      Agnes Genevie Kasper of Shiner entered eternal life on Monday, Dec. 30,
      1991, at 8:20 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Home. She attained the age of 88
      years, 1 month and 17 days.

      The body lay in state at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel where a Rosary,
      led by Father Jerry Caponi, was recited Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

      The body was conveyed to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church on Jan. 1,
      1992. At 1:30 p.m., a pre-Mass Rosary was recited by the Catholic Daughters
      of the Americas, the Altar Society and the KJZT members.

      Holy Mass was offered at 2 p.m. by Father Caponi.

      Burial was in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her
      nephews, Marvin Kercho, Oscar Migl, Johnnie Migl, Rudy Ulcak, Albin Migl and
      Jerry Hajek.

      Agnes Kasper was born Nov. 13, 1903 at the Scott School Community in Fayette
      County. She was one of 15 children born to Frank J. and Terezia (Barta)
      Migl.

      On June 25, 1928, she was married to John E. Kasper in the Shiner Catholic
      Church with the Rev. L.P. Netardus officiating.

      The couple made their home at the present address and she resided there
      continuously. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1976.

      She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, KJZT and Altar Society, a
      homemaker and a Catholic.

      She is survived by two sons, John Kasper III and Ray Kasper, both of Shiner,
      10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry and Tom
      Migl, both of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Rose) Kubenka of
      Moulton, and Mrs. Anton (Janie) Hajek of Edna; also numerous nieces and
      nephews.

      Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul, July 5,
      1991; her father, Oct. 10, 1946; her mother, Jan. 31, 1949; four sisters,
      Mrs. Fred (Rosalie) Ulcak, Oct. 3, 1973; Mrs. Lillian Stieder-Fehrenkamp,
      Aug. 3, 1963; Mrs. William A. (Mary) Huebner, Dec. 2, 1980 and Theresia Migl
      died in infancy at the age of two weeks; six brothers, Method A. Migl, Dec.
      21, 1971; Frank A. Migl, Sr., March 29, 1975; John A. Migl, May 6, 1976;
      Rudolph J. Migl, Feb. 26, 1982; Louis A. Migl, Sept. 19, 1984; and Albert J.
      Migl, May 23, 1986.
