Victor A. Bohuslav
Victor A. Bohuslav, 80, of Port Lavaca, died Thursday, June 3, 1993.
He was born Dec. 12, 1912, in Hallettsville, son of Adolf and Mathilda Lily
Hajek Bohuslav. He was a World War II veteran and retired power house
attendant for Alcoa. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
No. 4403, the Alcoa 25-Year Club, and Knights of Columbus. Bohuslav was a

daughter, Vicki Sharon Chaney of Victoria; a son, Allen Bohuslav of
Pasadena; three brothers, Alleck Bohuslav of Atlanta, Daniel Bohuslav of
Houston and Leon Bohuslav of Columbus, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolf and Lily Bohuslav; a sister,
Ida Lee Bohuslav, and two brothers, Archibald and George Bohuslav.
Visitation took place until 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 5 at Richardson
Funeral Home in Port Lavaca.
Services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Gulf
Catholic Church, Port Lavaca, with the Rev. Maurice Lange officiating.
Burial followed in the Greenlawn Garden Cemetery with military graveside
services by VFW Post 4403, under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Chris Chaney, Craig Chaney, J. B. Kolodzey, Steven
Schumacher, Eric Smith, and Larry Bohuslav.
Honorary pallbearer was Brenda Grause.
