      Albert Deleska

      TEXAS CITY - Albert John Deselka, 45, a mechanic and painter, died at
      10:57 p.m. Saturday at the Galveston County Memorial Hospital from
      injuries sustained in a fire at his residence, 2207 7th Avenue North,
      Texas City.

      Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the
      James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Burial will be at the
      Veterans Administration Cemetery in Houston, the Rev. Walter Dube,
      pastor of the Peace Lutheran Church, officiating.

      Mr. Deselka was born Aug. 17, 1928 in Schulenburg. He has been a
      resident of Texas City for the past 15 years.

      He was an auto mechanic and painter for W. A. Kelso Co. in Galveston.

      A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Deselka was a member of American
      Legion Post No. 89 of Texas City.

      He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Deselka; his mother, Mrs. Mary
      Korenek of Eagle Lake; a daughter, Sheila Deselka of Freeport; a
      sister, Mrs. Elsie Subak of Eagle Lake and a brother, Eugene Deselka
      of El Campo.

      Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

      Note: Surname should read Veselka.
