- Waco Tribune Herald, Friday March 1, 2002James Henry Kelinske, 74, of Waco passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002 at his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday March 2, at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Rynearson officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.James was born August 14, 1927 in Riesel to Henry and Martha Kelinske. He graduated from Riesel High School in 1945, after which he enlisted in both the Merchant Marines and the Army. James enjoyed woodworking, fixing things, as well as gardening.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothea Kelinske of Waco; children, Larry Eston Kelinske and wife Molly of Lorena, and James Henry Kelinske of Lexington, Texas; grandchildren, Jason paul kelinske, Kevin James Kelinske, Sarah katherine Maschek and Joseph Michael Kelinske; great-granddaughters, Alexis MMiranda and Katherine Diane Maschek; sister Francis Garcia of Houston; and his beloved dog & devoted friend, Jake.Pallbearers will be Jason and Joseph Kelinske, Mike Warren, Mark Ferrell, Richard and Jose Garcia. Being unable to attend James' service because of his assignment to Travis AFB in California, his grandson Kevin Kelinske will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
