YORKTOWN -- Emma Brinkmann Hruska, 83, of Yorktown, died Wednesday,
Jan. 2, 2002.
She was born Dec. 3, 1918, in Caldwell, to the late August F. and
Alvina Heine Brinkmann. She was a retired dry goods clerk at Nau's
Dry Goods and J.B. White Stores. She was a member of St. Paul
Survivors: daughters, Elaine Malina of Victoria and Twyla Hare of The
Woodlands; sisters, Alvina Luedke of Centerville, Dora Shupak of
Birch and Ester Bates of Caldwell; three grandchildren; two step-
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by: husband, Louis Hruska; parents; sisters, Ruby
Telg and Annie Schultz; and brothers, Theodore Brinkmann, Walter
Brinkmann and Wilfred Brinkmann.
Visitation will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral
Home chapel. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home
chapel, the Rev. Bill Hassel officiating.
Burial will be at Westside Cemetery. Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home,
