      A funeral Mass for MAX ARCH NOWAK, 73 of Montgomery will be held at
      10:A.M. Monday May 19, 1997 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev.
      David Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus
      Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. in Anderson, Texas. Max was born June 6, 1923
      in Grimes County Texas and passed away May 16, 1997 in Conroe,
      Texas. Mr. Nowak was retired from the City of Houston Parks and
      Recreation Department after Thirty Years of Service. Max was a
      member of Sacred Heart Church. Max is survived by his wife, Wilma
      Nowak of Montgomery; Sons and Daughters in law, Edwin & Delores Nowak
      of Hammond, Oregon, David & Jennifer Nowak of Houston, Texas; Mother,
      Frances Nowak of Anderson, Texas; Brothers, August & Alick Nowak of
      Anderson, Texas, John Nowak of Splendora, Texas and Pete Nowak of
      Montgomery, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A
      rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday evening in Metcalf Funeral
      Home. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Sunday May 18, 1997
      in Metcalf Funeral Home.
