FRANKLIN JAMES WENDEL, 58, passed away Monday April 1, 1996 in
Houston, TX. He was born September 16, 1937 in Moulton, TX. Resided
in Houston, TX for 36 years. Survived by: his wife of 37 years of
marriage Georgia Wendel; sons, Wayne Wendel, Rodney Wendel;
granddaughter Meagan Wendel; sisters Evelyn Seidenberger of Shiner,
TX, Lorene Lehnert of Corpus Christi, TX, Jeanette Marsh of Eugene
OR. Preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Clara Wendel; and
sisters, Hilda Kram of Shiner, TX and Wilma DiGiacomo of Denver, CO.
He served in the National Guard and was a faithful member of St.
Theresa Catholic Church for 35 years. Lifelong member of Knights of
Columbus. A devoted husband, dedicated father and caring
grandparent. Rosary: 7:00 pm Wednesday, Earthman Hunters Creek
Chapel. Funeral Mass: 11:00 am Thursday, April 4, 1996, St. Mary
Catholic Church, Praha, TX, Rev. Ben Smaistrla, celebrant. Rite of
Committal: St. Mary's Cemetery, Praha, TX.
