      Frank Zak, age 88, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2003.


      He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, baseball, football and family get-togethers.


      He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Kami Wallace Tiemann; his parents; eight sisters; and three brothers.


      He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne Zak; daughter, Marlene Wootton and husband, Trent; granddaughters, Kathy Clark and husband, Bobby, and Shannon Ray and husband, Jim; great-grandsons, Clinton Wallace and wife, Rachel, Zachary Wallace and Kevin Goggans; great- granddaughter, Katie Ray; great- great-granddaughter, McKenna Tiemann.


      The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2003 in the Davis Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2003 in the Colonial Chapel of Cook- Walden Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Becker and Dr. Logan Cummings, officiating. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/ Memorial Hill Cemetery.
