      EL CAMPO – Mrs. Anton Zalman, 85, a resident of El Campo for the past 64 years, died Monday in a local hospital.


      Mrs. Zalman was born in Industry, Sept. 5, 1890.


      A rosary will be recited in the chapel of Triska Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.  The body will lie in state at the funeral home chapel until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday when it will be taken to St. Philip’s Catholic Church for a requiem mass at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Memorial Park.


      Casketbearers will be her four sons and two sons-in-law.


      Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Victor Balchar of Nada and Mrs. Louis Zamazal of El Campo; four sons, Joe, Celestine [as printed] and Albert, all of El Campo, and Jerome of Snook; and 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
