      Funeral services for Mrs. Frank J. Berger, 63, of 319 E. Whittier St., San Antonio, a former Weimar area resident, were held Thursday morning, Nov. 16, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church here, with burial in the church cemetery.


      Mrs. Berger, the former Miss Martha Pavlik, died Monday night, November 13, in St. Benedict’s hospital, San Antonio, after a year’s illness.  She was a member of St. Cecelia’s Church in San Antonio.


      Born at Weimar Aug. 24, 1898, she was the daughter of Louis and Anna Pavlik.  She was married to Mr. Berger here Oct. 19, 1920, and they moved to San Antonio in 1929.


      Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Arthur F. Berger of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Alice A. Loy, of Walnut, California; six grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Annie Kunz of Hondo, Mrs. Pauline Hadash and Mrs. Elsie Cejka of Houston; Mrs. Alma Zalesky of San Antonio, Mrs. Ida Stirl of Sugar Land and Mrs. Alvina Waldecker, of Falls Church, Virginia; and six brothers, Frank, Joe and Herman Pavlik of Weimar, and Otto, John and Edgar Pavlik of San Antonio.
