Kara Lynn Kocijan born on July 25, 1984 in Houston, Texas passed away on November 22, 2013 at the age of 29. Kara was a life-long resident of the Kingwood-Humble area. She was a lover of life and a gentle spirited young woman who believed that friendships were paramount.

She embraced the thought of gift giving and often remembered friends and family with small gifts as an expression of what they meant to her. Her love of sports was secondary only to her love of music, fishing and hunting. Kara showered her Boxer's, "Smokie", "M.J." and "Willie Nelson" with as much love as humanly possible.

She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Wayne Kocijan and her grandfather, Billy Joe Kocijan.

Survivors include, her fiance, Chris Beard; mother and father, Tracy & Robert Brown; sister and brother-in-law, Sami & Nicholas Ware; sister, Carrie Bryant; sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey & Brett Madden; sisters, Shelly Kocijan and Summer Kocijan; grandparents, Chuck & Charlotte Rich; grandmothers, Bobbie Brown Lee and Pat Kocijan; aunts and uncles, Christopher Rich, Greg Bower, Heidi & Gordon Hodges, Nickie Bower, Theresa & John Baucom, Sheryl & Walter McKellar.

In addition, Kara is survived by her nephews, numerous cousins and many dear friends - none more important than her special uncle, David Francis.
