      Mass for Lucille B. Lanik, age 93, of Galveston, formerly of Danbury will be at 10 a,m., Friday, June 1, 2001, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury with Msgr. Boleslaus Zientek, Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's -Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. Vigil for the deceased and Rosary at 7 p.m.

       

      Lucille was born in Austria on December 8, 1907, and died in Galveston on Monday, May 28, 2001. She and her husband, John H. Lanik, Sr. moved to Danbury in 1941. Lucille was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury  and St. Anthony's Altar Society. She was a Danbury Correspondent for The Angleton Times and an avid gardener.

       

      Her husband  preceded her in death in 1996.

       

      Survivors are her sons, E.J. Lanik and wife, Mary Lee of Houston, John H. Lanik, Jr. and wife Judy of Houston; daughters, Conine Richardson and husband Don of Houston and Blanche Lucille Pistone and husband John of Galveston;  grandchildren, Thomas Richardson, Susan Richardson, Janet Meyer and husband Randy, Joan Norris and husband Trent, Jill Marr and husband Steven, John Chris Pistone and wife Robin, Mary Rose Fuller and husband Robert, Joseph  Pistone and wife Betsy, Michael Pistone and wife Colleen and Michelle Quijano and husband Shannon and 10 great grandchildren.
