      Mrs. Hermine K. Peters, 80, a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 28 (?) years, died at her home, 1216 Sixteenth, at 10 o’clock this morning after a lingering illness.


      Mrs. Peters was the widow of the late John C. A.  Peters, who died Jan. 27, 1950.  The Peters celebrated their golden anniversary here May 22, 1940.


      She was a member of the Corpus Christi Cathedral.


      Survivors include five sons, John F., Leeman R., and Louis G. of Corpus Christi, Henry E. of Cuero and Elo Peters of Gregory; two daughters, Miss Cecelia Peters and Mrs. Lydia Rogers, both of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Louis and James Koniakowsky, both of Ellinger, Texas, and Joe Koniakowsky of Harlingen; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Tschiedel of Alice, Mrs. Elo Meyer and Miss Erna Koniakowsky, both of Ellinger, and 13 grandchildren.


      Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Dunne Funeral Home.
