      Mrs. Agnes Venglar, 71, 605 N. Cleveland, died in a local hospital at noon Tuesday.

       

      Triska Funeral Home of El Campo will announce funeral arrangements when a daughter arrives from Hawaii.  Funeral services will be at St. Philip’s Catholic Church in El Campo.  Burial will be in El Campo.

       

      Mrs. Venglar, who came here three years ago from El Campo, was the widow of Gus Venglar, Wharton farmer, who died in 1944.

       

      Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. E. L. Pieper of Victoria, Mrs. David K. Thornblom of Markham, Mrs. W. E. Cook of Hawaii and Mrs. E. F. Miller and Mrs. Alfred Brandes of El Campo; three sons, Louis Venglar of Wharton, John Venglar of Brazoria and Edmund Venglar of El Campo; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
