      EL CAMPO – Adolph J. Hruzek, 72, longtime farmer and rancher in the Rock Island Community, died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday in a Weimar hospital after a lengthy illness.


      He was born Aug. 21, 1907, in Nada.


      The body will lie in state at Triska Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Friday when it will be taken to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nada for a rosary at 1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral services at 2 p.m.


      Monsignor Victor Schmidtzinski will officiate.  Burial will be in Nada Catholic Cemetery.


      He is survived by his wife, Frances Hruzek of Rock Island; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Behlen of Weimar; a son, A. J. Hruzek Jr. of Rock Island, five sisters, Sister Raphaella, Sister Flora and Miss Mary Hruzek, all of San Antonio, Sister Florida of Granger, and Mrs. Frances Simmons of Seadrift; and two grandchildren.
