      The funeral mass for Mary A. Vincik, age 95, of West Columbia, Texas is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 603 County Road 264Y, Damon, TX. The Rev. Henry Rachunek will officiate. The burial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Rosenberg. Visitation will be at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2006, with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Vincik passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006, in Rosenberg, Texas.


      She was born September 9, 1910 in Bleiberville, Texas to parents, Vencil and Josephine Broz. She farmed cotton in Beasley, Texas, for many years. She was a member of KJZT Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 503 in West Columbia She was a parishioner of Sts. Cyril and Methodius. Her family and friends knew her as a master baker of kolaches and strudels. She loved to work in her yard and flower beds. She will be dearly missed by her family.


      Her sister-in-law, Bernice K. Broz, of West Columbia, survives her along with nephews: Ronnie Broz and wife, Linda, of Canyon Lake; Vencil Broz and wife, Vicki ,of Baton Rouge; Charles Ray Vincik and wife, Lois, of Beasley; and James Vincik of Oakland, CA.; nieces: Kathy Lovett of Killeen; Tammy Boclair and husband, David, of Nashville; and Mildred Shula of Dallas; great nephews: Jared Broz, Stefan Broz, Michael Broz, James Alan Vincik and wife, Cindy; Gary Vincik and wife, Linda; great nieces: Sarah Lincoln and husband, Shawn; Sherril Failla and husband, Ricky; and several great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents Vencil and Josephine Broz; two brothers, Joe Broz and Vencil Broz; sister-in-law, Agnes Broz; and niece, Angie Kloecker.


      Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Broz, Vencil Broz, Charles Ray Vincik, David Boclair, Doug Thompson, and Shawn Lincoln. The family requests mass offerings be made to Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church or other memorial donations to a charity of choice.
