      ANNA BETH KUTSCHBACH MARESH, died March 28, 2002, in Houston, Texas.


      She was born on December 19, 1916, in Houston to Mattie Lockart Kutschbach and A.H. Kutschbach, D.V.M. and was a fourth generation Houstonian.


      Mrs. Maresh is predeceased in death by her parents and two brothers, A.H. Kutschbach and Robert L. Kutschbach, D.V.M.


      Mrs. Maresh graduated from Reagan High School in 1933 and Rice University in 1937.


      She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Joe J. Maresh, Jr., and her five children: Anne Maresh Wheeler of Houston, Joseph John Maresh, III and wife Sharon of Richardson, Mel A. Maresh and wife Carol of Houston, Ellen Maresh Hickman and husband Gary of Houston, and Robert David Maresh, M.D. of Metairie, LA; nine grandchildren: Amy Wheeler, M.D. and husband Christian Nixon, Beth Wheeler, Matthew Wheeler, Darren Maresh and wife Denese, Brent Maresh, Steven Maresh, Michael Maresh, Kathryn Maresh and Spencer Hickman; three great-grandchildren: Kylee Maresh, Katelyn Maresh and Jack Nixon. She is also survived by her brother Melvin A. Kutschbach, M.D. of Shreveport, LA.


      She was a member of The First United Methodist Church, 1320 Main Street at Clay, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2002. Visitation with the family will follow the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The National Parkinson Foundation, Development Dept., 1501 NW 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136-1494 or to your favorite charity.
