      Dorothy Mary Fisher Kainer, 89, of El Campo, died Sunday at her home, surrounded by her family, April 10, 2005.
       
      She was born Feb. 8, 1916 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada to Harry and Jessie Knights Fisher. She and Wilfred Kainer were married on April 20, 1940 in Shawnee, Okla. Mrs. Kainer has resided in El Campo since 1947 and was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
       
      Mrs. Kainer is survived by her husband, Wilfred Kainer and four children: Larry Kainer and wife Anne of Colleyville, Marilyn Guidry of Austin, Rob Kainer and wife Ruth of El Campo and Bill Kainer and wife Lynda of Alvin. She has eight grandchildren, Ann Guidry, Jennifer Guidry, Michael Guidry and wife, Traci, Michael Kainer and wife Lori, Kristen Keithley and husband Scott, Allison Kainer, Kaitlin Kainer and Jessica Kainer; three great-grandsons, Carson and Connor Keithley and Jackson Kainer; and two brothers, Fred and Norman Fisher of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
       
      She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Fisher of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
       
      A Parish wake was held Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Services are today, Wednesday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
       
      Pallbearers are Michael Kainer, Michael Guidry, Donald Kainer, Jimmy Kainer, Scott Keithley and Randy Hilderbrand. Honorary pallbearers are Ann Guidry, Dora Reyes, Jennifer Guidry, Anita Martinez, Kristen Keithley, Mary Ann Valdez, Allison Kainer, Rosa Linda Carbajal, Jessica Kainer, Estella Gonzales and Kaitlin Kainer.
       
      In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Philip School, 304 West Church St., El Campo, Texas 77437 or Hospice Support, Inc., P.O. Box 1417, El Campo, Texas 77437.
