      GANADO -- Funeral services for Daniel G. Malcik, 54, of Ganado, an employe of the post office here for 20 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Assumption Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Halata officiating.
      Rosary will be recited at Psencik Chapel at 8 p.m. Tuesday and the body will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday to lie in state.
      Burial will be in the Ganado Catholic Cemetery with full military rights by the Hilliard-Yoas American Legion Post.  Members of the Legion will be pallbearers.
      Mr. Malcik was born April 15, 1918, in Cistern, Tex.  A veteran of World War II, he was a prisoner of war 42 months and participated in the infamous Bataan march.  He died at his residence here Monday.
      Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Malcik of Ganado; his mother, Mrs. Plelemia Malcik of Ganado; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Gale Atzenhoffer of Edna and Miss Lawanda Malcik of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Von Dohlen of Galveston and Mrs. Sabina Duerr, Mrs. Mary Salazar and Mrs. Mylada Synder, all of California; three brothers, Louis of Wharton, August of Ganado and Emil of San Antonio; and one grandchild.
