      CAMERON¬óMilus  (Felix) Kovar, 91, of Cameron died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 in a Cameron hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 27 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Coleman officiating. Burial followed at St. Monica¬ís Cemetery.

      Mr. Kovar was born April 14, 1916 in Milam County to Joseph and Agnes (Lazek) Kovar.

      He spent many years living life on the rodeo circuit. He loved roping, traveling the U.S., training hunting dogs and bird hunting.

      Mr. Kovar served five years in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Guam where he received a silver star. When he returned to Cameron he went into the trucking business. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 2010 in Cameron.

      Survivors include: his brother, Joe Kovar and wife Milady of Cameron and his niece, Jo Ann Kovar and husband Leon Zalesky of Cameron.
