      ELIZABETH ANN REMLINGER

      PALACIOS - Elizabeth Ann Remlinger, 74, of Palacios, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007. She was born March 30, 1933, in Riviera, to the late Albert and Josephine Cernoch Boeker.

      She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where she contributed countless hours of her time in various activities, and a member of Catholic Daughters. She also devoted nine years of dedicated service to the Knights of Columbus.

      She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles Remlinger of Palacios; sons, Chuck and wife Irene of Katy, Bruce and wife Kim of Fredericksburg, Paul of Bay City, Mark and wife Lucille of Blessing, and Scott and wife Karen of Houston; daughters, Ann Glaze of San Antonio, Lynn and husband Larry Koether of Van Vleck, and Jane Remlinger of Palacios; sister, Vera Yaklin of Riviera; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Diana Garcia.  Her son, Kirk, and her sister, Helen Blanchette, preceded her in death.

      A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at Palacios Funeral Home.  Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Dwomoh officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Blessing.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kirk, Craig, Erich and Paul Ryan Remlinger, Bubba and Ross Glaze, Matthew and Jacob Koether, Bruce Junek Jr., and Austin Frick.

      The family wishes to thank the staff of Palacios Community Medical Center, Houston Hospice, and Palacios Healthcare Center.  Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
