      The Michler map (in the Atlas to accompany the official records... ) shows New Industry just north of the current Battlefield Park on the East/South bank of

        The Michler map (in the "Atlas to accompany the official records...")
        shows New Industry just north of the current Battlefield Park on the
        East/South bank of the Potomac where the river turns sharply west and
        forms a large bight. Looks like it might have been near the
        intersection of modern Mondell and Bowie Roads. Michler shows
        Dovenberger's Mill there in 1867.
