      Dear Brian,

Yes, I am mentioning Frenchtown, NJ. Surprised you would know
      about that...

      Yr. Obt. Svt.
      G E "Gerry" Mayers

To Be A Virginian, either by birth, marriage, adoption, or even
on one's mother's side, is an introduction to any state in the
Union, a passport to any foreign country, and a benediction from
      the Almighty God. --Anonymous

      Thanks Gerry,

They're direct relations, if you're referring to Frenchtown, NJ.

Andrew Mallet, son of Frenchtown's founder Paul Henry (Henri)
Mallet-Prevost, left his dad and went off to Philadelphia between
      1795
and 1810. He was a Major of artillery in the war of 1812. He was
      our
Colonel Charles M Prevost's father, the General A.M. Prevost
      mentioned
      in the bio sketch.

      Small world, eh?

      Brian
