Group Description

The SCHOOL OF THEOSOPHY,ORLANDO was organized in 1987 as an educational department of The Theosophical Society In Orlando, Florida.

The School offers classes in Basic Theosophy and Meditation,and holds seminars & lectures on Theosophical & Interfaith topics.

It teaches the Theosophy of H.P.Blavatsky as articulated by Dr.Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater, but welcomes the amity and communication with all other Theosophical Groups.

It contains an extensive list of further links to information about Theosophy,as well as a free internet Library of Genuine Theosophical Literature.

The Theosophical Society In Orlando, was organized January 23,1935, and continues to meet weekly for discussion,study and meditation. It maintains a Lending Library, Nature Sanctuary,and Meditation Room,open weekly to the public.

Theosophy is the wisdom underlying all religions when they are stripped of accretions and superstitions.

It offers a philosophy which renders life intelligible and demonstrates that justice and love guide the cosmos.

Its teachings aid the unfoldment of the latent spiritual nature in the human being, without dependence or fear.
