Group Description

TV5 is the television arm of MediaQuest, the multi-media organization and investee company of PLDT’s Beneficial Trust Fund. With PLDT President Manny V. Pangilinan concurrently heading the network as ABC Development Corporation Chairman, TV5 plays a crucial role in the trailblazing digital convergence merging all multimedia platforms for all Filipinos worldwide.

With MediaQuest fueling TV5’s massive programming, talent, financial, and infrastructural expansions, the TV network has become an engaging choice for its innovative and creative programming that continues to solidify its position as a major player and strong competitor for the top ranks of Philippine television.

TV5 introduces a fresh wave of healthy competition that aims to enlarge the industry’s overall impact and audience reach. Gearing up for an all-digital, tape-less workflow and High Definition transmission, TV5 is ready to take the great leap of establishing itself as a new breed of hit-making Filipino multimedia channel and ushering the digital revolution in the local broadcasting landscape.

TV5’s top management team is comprised of President and CEO Ray C. Espinosa, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Roberto V. Barreiro, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Broadcast Operations Atty. Dan Albert De Padua, Vice President for Engineering Engr. Rodrigo “Dennis” V. Carandang, Chief Financial Officer Anna V. Bengzon, News5 Head Luchi Cruz-Valdes, Entertainment and Creative Services Head Perci M. Intalan, and Head of Media5, Sales & Marketing Arm of TV5 Annie Naval.

TV5 had a grand relaunch in March 2010 of its new logo, station ID and the network slogan “Para Sa’Yo, Kapatid.”
