At this event we will announce our TTCS C0DE Challenge.

The TTCS C0DE challenge is a coding competition for software developers. The
goal is to encourage the development of software within Trinidad and Tobago
by providing opportunities and incentives for software development.

In the spirit of Software Freedom Day, the first C0DE Challenge will be to
develop an Open Source application based on criteria that will be provided
to the challengers. The challengers will be given a rough software
specification and will need to develop an application based on it. They will
be given four (4) weeks to complete the challenge at the end of which, three
      (3) winners will be selected.

The solution must be done using either .NET, PHP, Java or Python and the
submissions must be made available under an approved Open Source License.
You can find more information at http://www.ttcsweb.org/challenge/
