      But who's willing to pay for the bandwidth of a local mirror?


      Another approach might be better. Someone with the ISOs can make that
      directory available to any good file-sharing programme, and, once us regular
      folks have broadband, we can use that method of distribution.

      Seems better than cribbing off of someone's crporate bandwidth.

      We tend to use a very analog, delayed (VERY) form of this already.

      and i dont mean what carib-link or intereserve offers...that is nto a
      mirror..i think they are redirecting from another site...cause i would
      downlaod of them at 3 kbs...but get 4-5 from florida?...i mena....doset that
      seem a little odd?
