Goro's Bar 2005- Takuya Kimura as guest

[this show was really sweet-and takuya and goro were so cute together]

-takuya is goro's elder brother, and at the end of the show, the ladies in kimonos of Goro's Bar have to decide who is the better owner for the bar-takuya or goro.  in the beginning, the ladies asked a few questions about goro and takuya--how they are like, their behaviors.. some points:

+takuya commented that goro frequently looks at himself in mirrors.. he tries to use everything as a mirror. in the worst case, he looks into takuya's eyes while speaking but is really looking at his own reflection in takuya's pupils.  goro couldn't say anything to that.

+ goro commented that takuya on the other hand, seldom uses mirrors.  takuya said he didn't really like to. goro said that takuya's never late, and he's serious.  then goro realised he wasn't supposed to be praising his 'rival' owner.

+takuya said that goro's aura when he's late is so cute-- he comes running in his private clothes [which are fanicer than his variety clothes], and he mutters, "sumimasen" to the side.. hehe

+Did you guys [tak and goro] fight when you were young? they said no, but there have been a few brawls within smap.  goro never likes to plunge into the brawl, so usually he's the one who has nothing to do with the fights, and later, when they come back all heated, he asks, "is it over yet?"  goro defended himself by saying that they [smap] were all childish back then, and he thought it was baka to get heated up in a fight. the ladies said that goro and takuya must be very different in nature, but goro said that "of course we are similar in some ways." takuya was surprised, and said, "similar in some ways!?" then takuya said, "(even though you were more mature when it came to fighting) I'm the senpai [more experienced] when it comes to relationships". 

+takuya calls actresses by role name in the studio.

+takuya said that for goro, it takes him a while to call actresses by first name. "the first time, he (..?), then the 5th and 6th time, he calls them by last name, then the 7th/8th time, he moves on to first name".  it seems like takuya knows goro's system well. =)

SITUATION: [tak and goro have to improv their lines while acting in the given situation with a guest actress]  If you were living together with an actress, and she told you that some man had told her that he liked her, what would you say?

First, goro with an actress:

Actress: "recently, someone told me they liked me."

Goro: "Maybe you'll hear it again, this time, from me. I love you."

---------- that was so smooth and kakkoii!! takuya looked amazed and he praised goro by saying, "being able to think that up on the spot is so amazing, because there's no script.."

Takuya's turn:  he seemed a bit panicked because he didn't know what to say following goro's kakkoii lines.

Actress: "recently, someone told me they liked me."

Takuya: "I don't know you much that person likes you, but......I......*breaking out of the acting* Chotto wait a minute!!"  looks like the actress had started giggling in the middle of the scene, and this take ended as a NG. when asked why she started laughing, the actress apologized and said, "i was just thinking that if it were like this with kimura san's girlfriend.. it would be very shiawase!" takuya seemed pleased.  but the other ladies said they wanted a Take 2.  takuya seemed really reluctant to do it.  so one of the ladies behind him said, "i can raise the tension for you! i can raise the tension. you know, all of us behind you (in kimonos) are in no-bra!"  takuya immediately gave her a thumbs up and reached out to shake her hand.

actress: "someone told me they liked me."

Takuya: "i really don't know how much he likes you...but i can't put any shape to it, but i love you." and he hugged her, and didn't let go even after the directer cut the scene.  the audience ooohed and aaahhed. =)

---------Goro:  that jolted my heart! (hehe, how cute!)

~~~next part, a model and another lady came in as guests--and takuya looked through the model's ero book..

Goro was getting ready to sing a duet on stage, and he commented that singing on such a small stage [because he's used to huge ones in smap] was a bit embarrassing."  and takuya said, "as a member of the same group, hearing that was a bit..not what i wanted to hear." after the song, goro said that singing in front of a member was embarrassing. [but the song was very nice!]

then, takuya was on stage with his guitar.  he muttered, "i didn't know that Goro's Bar could make me so nervous!" He sang eric clapton's Wonderful Tonight--it was so beautiful. after he finished, he asked goro, "goro, how was that?" and goro said, "it was amazing! the atmosphere in the studio changed."

Outake Shinobu [former wife of sanma] was the next guest.

Her situation was: if you were to take me out on a date, where would we go?

ONE DAY DATE: takuya~

"i would forcefully take you out early in the morning when you're still sleepy, and we'd got to the beach by car. it wouldn't matter if you fell asleep in the car, and you'd be saying 'don't worry, i'll stay awake', but then you'd nod off to sleep. i'll step on the brakes really carefully when going to pay the man on the highway, because i really don't want to wake you up, but when the man cheerfully says, "thank you!" when i pay him, i'll glare at him for being so loud. once there, i'll let you go into your favorite brand shop, and when you've found a brand you like, i'd pay right there and you can walk straight out of the store in your newly bought clothes." *the ladies became so excited about the idea* takuya was trying to continue, but the ladies were loud, so he said, "shut up! all the images are flowing right now." he closed his eyes. "then, we'd go out for dinner somewhere nice, like a french restaurant."  *the women seemed very happy just thinking about it. 'Ii ne!!...'*

ONE DAY DATE: goro~ [hesitantly..]

"well..we can go to the mountains.." *outake san yelled 'yada! no way!'* "we can look up at the birds..the canaries.." Takuya said to goro, "goro, you can say what you really want to do"  {i thought that line was really sweet--he kind of released some pressure, as if to tell goro that it's ok, say what you want} but goro said, "no, i really want to go to the mountains..more than that, to spend time talking to her. i think it would be easier to talk under the sun. Like a date with emotions." Takuya started laughing and said, "A date with emotions?" and goro tried continuing.. "what i mean is.." but takuya tilted over to the side on the sofa, laughing and yelled, ".....Eirashii! (i have to look that word up)..."

the show ended with all the ladies voting for takuya to be the best owner, but then later they all switched back to goro.  takuya said that he actually hadn't come to the show to take over goro's place as owner. he was just worried (as goro's 'elder bro'), and wanted to see if all the kimono ladies of the bar would stay loyal to goro.

Takuya: the broadcast is over, right? Iku wa.. i'll be going, then.

Goro: next time, come back as a guest!

Takuya: Uchi sa, don't we have a lot of other brothers? [as in smap]

Goro: yeah, i think we have about 5, but i can only picture you being here.

Takuya: then-- Adios Broza! [brother =)]

Goro: Adios Broza!

Takuya: it [the broadcast] was really long, ne! (they were filming it for 5 hours!)~~~~~~~~~~

The last scene--takuya and goro sang Yozora no mukou on stage.  it was really nice to see just the two of them singing together, and they sang it so well!
