What I am saying is that up to now I have not been aware of
Bulgarian people indicating 'yes' and 'no' in a different way from other
nations , at least my friends and acquaintances in Bulgaria don't do that.

As a matter of fact Bulgaria has been in very close relations with
Europe during the centuries and I don't think our body language and
gestures are much different from that of other European nations. This
custom of nodding the head for 'no' and shaking it for 'yes' is more likely
to be a regional thing as Eve has mentioned but I haven't done any research
about it, not yet, and where it comes from. Maybe it is not a bad idea to
start doing it now.
