    Folks,

I sent the following message this morning, and some people could not see the attachments.
I attached the latest Camporee guide in a different email just now, and the image of that message with the calendars is re-included here as a PDF, if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Bill

As a reminder, our troop website (maintained by scout webmaster) keeps our current calendar.  We're going to try going more "green" this year and utilize this great resource rather than distributing multiple paper copies of schedules as the calendar is updated regularly.  Visit t104.us each week!

Of note, we just had a great 15 mile bike hike on Saturday, and several scouts oriented with map and compass to work towards rank requirements.  In the next month or so we have:

    * Stokes State Forest campout next Saturday (bring in permission slips tonight)
    * Court of Honor next Monday
    * Not on our calendar yet, but an opportunity to help with the Cub Camporee Saturday 10/5 (free camping included if you are interested in helping)
    * Boy Scout Camporee 2 weeks later -- "Are you tougher than a Boy Scout?" (see the attachment for details)
    * Lions' Club Pancake Breakfast 10/27

There are an abundance of opportunities for your scouts to get involved -- and in addition our Popcorn Sale is in full swing.
For those that haven't sold popcorn before, it is the largest of our 2 fundraisers each year, and our objective is to have every scout participate.
Remember that a portion of their sales goes into a "10% account" which they can use for scouting supplies and events!

    See you tonight
