Scout Sunday at All Saint's on Feb. 3
This is just a reminder that All Saint’s Church will be having their annual Scout Sunday this Sunday, Feb. 3rd starting at 10 am. The scouts (and adults) will be serving a pancake breakfast to the congregation immediately afterward. Since the church has been generous enough to sponsor and support us (letting us use their facilities and storage space) for over 50 years, this is an appropriate way for all Troop 104 scout’s and families to show their appreciation.
During the 10 am service, scouts participate in a number of areas. Listed below are the scouts that volunteered to help at the service this year:
Reader’s – Adam Bransky & Jack Thal
Ushers- Kyle Burton & Daniel Resnicoff
Greeter’s – Scott Kaiser & Michael Bonnell
Oblation bearer’s (bring up bread and wine)-Jack Thal & Nick Johns
Colin Okell ( a regular congregant) will be the acolyte. For the above listed scouts, your names will be appearing in the service leaflet so it is expected that you will be there.
All scouts and families are invited to attend. It is the one time of the year the troop can show its appreciation. Hopefully most of you can find the time to come. Scout’s should arrive at Lea Hall by 9:45 am to get organized since they will be processing in during the opening hymn. Scout’s-please wear complete Class A’s (including neckerchiefs).
Yours in Scouting
