That's right, the Supernatural.tv Newsletter is returning!! We've been on hiatus for an extremely long time, but we are improving the Newsletter to try and bring you new and better content on a regular basis. We look forward to once again providing you all with the latest information about the Supernatural fandom and also with the most recent events over on the board (supernatural.tv)! However, in the mean time we have this brief mini issue to quickly catch you up on the major events taking place over at Supernatural.tv Forums.

First and foremost, today (September 4th) was the first day of the our forum overhaul, where the forum has undergone a few changes, some minor and some more visible. Here is a brief list of the changes that will be occurring today through Monday:

      1. A New Forum Skin
      2. Changes to the Character Forum
      3. Reconstruction/Organization of the Character Forum
      4. Changes in Member Central
      5. Reconstruction of Off-Topic Discussion Area
      6. New Fan Group Rules (For Both New and Old Fan Groups)
      7. Changes in the Fanart Forum

If you would like to read more on what all the changes are, please check out Yoda's announcement.

Also, the staff has decided to create our own LiveJournal Page to try and keep members up-to-date on news and events! Make sure to check it out and add us as a friend!

In honor of not only the 100th Episode celebration, but also the incredible artistic talent we have in our forum community, Luke Skywalker (formerly Senator Seth) organized an Artist Celebration Project that took the form of a Graphics Worm. The goal was simply to get as many artists as were interested to join the project and they all create a Graphics Worm, which is essentially a piece of graphic art that starts with one person, and then is passed on to the next who adds another piece, and then it is passed to the next person who adds their piece, and so on and so on. The first round of the Worm finished August 1st, but upon request of all the participants, a second round of the worm is being done to make it even longer! The second round is still a work in progress, and it is not too late to join the project  if you're interested!

Finally, this year's Supernatural.tv Awards has come to a conclusion, and the winners will be announced September 16th. This year, Luke and Yoda decided to scale back the awards to only include categories that involved the show directly, no member specific awards. Many people seemed to like this set up more than previous set ups in years past; so we plan to stick with this new set up next year.

And that is all the current news for the Supernatural.tv Forums!! The new official newsletter will be released later this month around the date for the Season 6 Premiere. Luke has put a lot of time into trying to make the Newsletter look amazing, and our new Newsletter staff has also been working hard to bring you some amazing content for our first issue!

Until then, we thank you for subscribing, and we'll see you soon!
