Here's a sampling of what readers said. What do you think will happen in the last scene of the season 3 finale?
In a perfect world, it will be Dean and Sam driving off down the road in the Impala but, in my twisted sense of reality, it will be Sam kneeling next to the beaten and bloody body of his big brother Dean. The shot will pan to Sam's face as a single tear rolls down his cheek. Roll credits. - Winchester07
Dean will be looking into the depths of Hell, the hellhounds baying, whatever demon it is who holds his contract will be waiting (Lucifer maybe?) and then Sam will step in front of him, his eyes will go red (just like Jake's in AHBL2) and we'll realize that, just like Ava, with whom he shared the same power (death visions), he will have allowed the switches to flip, have accessed a whole slew of new Jedi mind tricks, and will now have the power to control demons... Including the demon who has Dean's contract... "You're not taking my brother anywhere..." - Irismay42
I believe the last scene of Season three will show Dean walking away. Whether he will be walking into hell, or walking towards the crossroads, I don't know. I just know that I think that's how it will end, with a shot of Dean's back. - Tamara
I think Sam will find a loop hole in the deal and spend the entire episode working it out. Just as the Hellhound comes for Dean, the boys will share a desperate look and the credits will fall in place. Leaving us to wonder if Dean is going to Hell of if Sam has saved the day until season 4. - Michelle
As for the last scene, I have been picturing Dean doing exactly the same thing what John did to Sam. When John asks Sam if he could get him a cup of coffee, and then have Sam finding his father dead on the floor. [ ] Dean could just ask Sam to get him something that would have to have Sam leave the room only to find Dean dead minutes later. [ ] As much as I hate it since I love Dean, Dean will die in the last scene and Sam will probably look like what Dean looked like when Sam died in his arms. - Veronica
