amusement (hello, Bis!), or reflects the tone of the album it

Honorable Mention goes to Life's Too Good by The Sugarcubes because
of it's hard-to-ignore day-glo colors (alien glow green and bright

figures with anatomically correct parts, with nary a complaint:

I would vote for Spooky by Lush (1992), designed by Vaughn Oliver. It perfectly represents the contents of the album. Or maybe I just have a dirty mind! Bill

(shoegaze, psychedelia) often feature stunning artwork (Cocteau Twins

Wow, I so totally did not "see" what the issue was, until I just
looked at the CD cover again...LOL

I actually have the Spooky cassette on hand, and the design placement
is a little bit different - there's still the stamped imprints of
Lush in a circle all over, but there's only the "male" bit of the
image, so to speak, on the cassette, and it's placed upward instead
of downward... Not that anyone cares *that* much about it, but just
              FYI...LOL

Oh, and I just now unfolded the rest, and in the middle is another of
those worm-looking things, then a plus sign (in raspberry pink,
white, and cool blue), and then, the last part of insert has the
ummm, "female" part...oh, and there is a mini version of the "male"
part below the "female" part - and this is probably way too much
neither-here-nor-there information, so I'll shut up now.

This is what happens by Friday afternoon, after a long work week...LOL

Nice list! :D I especially like the Power Corruption and Lies by
New Order cover art, and that would be on my list as a
favorite "flower" pic, except that I saw the Nightmare Of You cover
art and liked that even better. Also love the flaming flower on
Adorable's Against Perfection album that you listed.
